2023-24 Title I Parent and Family Engagement Plan
Oak Ridge Elementary School of Leadership, Environmental and Health Sciences is a Title 1 school. Title 1 funds are used to improve structures that support student learning with the primary goal to ensure that all students demonstrate proficient and advanced levels of achievement. Oak Ridge recognizes that some students may need extra assistance available through the Title I program to reach the state’s high academic standards in reading, writing, or math.
Oak Ridge Elementary School of Leadership, Environmental and Health Sciences is committed to providing a high quality education for every child. To this end, we want to establish partnerships with parents and families.
Everyone gains if school and home work together to promote high achievement for our children. Neither home nor school can do the job alone. Parents play an extremely important role as children’s first teachers. Parent support for their children and for the school is critical to their children’s success every step along the way.
