Mission
The Oak Ridge Parent Teacher Organization's mission is to facilitate the betterment of Oak Ridge by creating an open, welcoming and supportive learning environment, fostering school pride, developing and strengthening the community of advocates that exist to support our students, teachers, staff and families. We appreciate parent involvement in any capacity and invite you to join us in helping our school this year.

Fundraising at Oak Ridge
Fundraising helps to provide additional financial support to Oak Ridge Elementary and offer enrichment opportunities to all students.Some activities we have funded include:
- Class supplies/parties ($100 per teacher)
- Community snacks
- Lebanon Hills programs (Wilderness Wednesdays)
- Enhance outdoor learning experiences (stocking pond with fish, playground materials, winter play materials, carts)
- Family skate night
- Camp Wonder supplies
- Ninja Anywhere course for all students
- Teacher appreciation gifts/snacks
- Staff dinners for assessment and conference nights
- Art curriculum
- Music supplies (pound sticks)
- 5thgrade graduation decorations and treats
- Literacy activities
- End of the year party (Outside at Oak Ridge)
- Other opportunities that arise throughout the year
Cash Donations
As a 503c non-profit organization, you can make a cash donation that is 100% tax deductible. In addition, many employers offer a donation match program.
